Gary Tarpinian

Gary Tarpinian is the President, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of MorningStar Entertainment. He oversees the creative process for all projects from their inception to their completion, and has served as Executive Producer on all of MorningStar’s projects, including many award winning television series and specials. His involvement with “Manhunters” (A&E) and “Deadliest Warrior” (Spike) helped establish MorningStar as a leader in action-packed, non-scripted television. He received an Emmy for Outstanding Edited Sports Series for ESPN Classic’s “Sports Century: The Top 50 & Beyond”, two Freddy Awards for ‘Chicago’s Lifeline’ (Best Medical Reality Series) and many other prestigious honors including the Cine Golden Eagle for “Best One-Hour Historical Documentary’ for MorningStar’s ground breaking special on ‘Gettysburg’ for Discovery. Before he co-founded MorningStar Entertainment, Mr. Tarpinian had a distinguished career as a writer and producer and worked for such networks as PBS and USA. Mr. Tarpinian graduated from Hofstra University in New York and was an outstanding student in the Master’s Program in Communication Arts at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The National Association of Television Production Executives, and the International Documentary Association.

 

Paninee Theeranuntawat

Paninee Theeranuntawat is Chief Financial Officer and the co-founder of MorningStar Entertainment. Ms. Theeranuntawat supervises financial planning and analysis and is also a creative force behind every MorningStar project from development to post production. She has received the Executive Producer credit on every MorningStar production. She has a background in directing and has produced many highly-acclaimed projects for networks such as Discovery, A&E, Nat Geo, The History Channel, TLC, PBS, ESPN, The Travel Channel, Discovery Health, The Military Channel and HGTV. Among her notable credits are Executive Producer & Creator of “Manhunters- Fugitive Task Force” (A&E) and “Deadliest Warrior” (Spike). Ms. Theeranuntawat received a B.A. in communication from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand and her M.A. in communication arts from Loyola Marymount. She is also a member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
